Gary E. Lane, M.D., F.A.C.S
General Surgery, Thoracic and Peripheral Vascular Surgery
Dr. Lane received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from University of Southern California. He graduated medical school from Roslind Franklin University of Health Sciences/ The Chicago Medical School, and completed his General Surgery Residency at Michigan State University in Saginaw.
Dr. Lane first became interested in varicose vein treatments as a result of his wound care practice. Dr. Lane has clinics in two wound care centers in Pueblo, and healing chronic venous stasis ulcers was terribly difficult. He tested new treatments as they were developed, but it was the Endovenous Laser Treatment that really provided the results he was looking for.
Renee Lane, MS, RN, ANP-C
Renee received her bachelor’s in nursing at Rush University in Chicago, IL, and her master’s in nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She took her certification boards through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
When she and her husband, Dr Lane, went to the International Vein Congress meeting in 2004, they caught the vision of offering comprehensive vein treatments. Renee learned sclerotherapy from conferences, text books, and mentoring. She truly enjoys eliminating spider veins, and says sometimes she dreams about disappearing veins. In January 2009, she added the Lyra I 1064 laser to have another tool to remove unwanted veins. “There are pros and cons for both sclerotherapy and laser spider vein removal, and I think the best option is to combine the two,” states Renee. She takes the time to understand the goals and priorities of her clients to direct treatment. Renee also enjoys the opportunity to offer a free screening to all vein patients. She believes that giving clients valuable information helps them to make an informed decision as to what the best course of treatment is for them.
